My Wonderful Days App Reviews

Downloaded the app and was eager to use it… I opened it immediately to see its functionality and then went on to set up my password. I logged out and tried to log back in to test its security, but the app would not open and it’s completely locked. There’s no function to reset the password. I’ve contacted the company and got no response. Waste of my money and feeling frustrated! :

I love this app to journal in a fun way of keeping track of my days and storing pictures and writing on different devices across iCloud. Its not perfect though, like on the Mac version sometimes clicking an old entry I searched for doesnt work, or if Ive just edited it on the Mac and then open the app on my iPhone itll revert to the older version of whatevers on my iPhone. (And on the iPhone, sometimes that UI is wonky, esp when dealing with taking photos on iOS 7.) The *biggest* complaint I have about this app is the security. It stores the files in iCloud in essentially non-encripted text, and that in turn can be accessed to anyone with access to the computer, whether or not the app itself has had a password set. Removing a password by uninstalling and reinstalling the app is also a weakness, there has to be a better password recovery system for this.

I paid for all MY WONDERFUL DAYS in Mac, iPhone, iPad, and also MY WONDERFUL GOALS. It deserves to pay for it, which makes me keep working on writing things everyday!

This app comes closest to all the features and design needed for a good daily journal (and I have tried many other apps/solutions.) The layout makes sense, and you can see a calendar, sort views, add and update days, and put in pics and more into each entry. Most important is the export features that set this app apart from many others. E-mail and .pdf export are excellent features. I use this app every day!

I stumbled upon this as I looked for a way to keep a concise, daily journal on all platforms. I can also include videos and photos. My nightly routine now: Write a few lines on my iPhone app, just before going to sleep. If I want to write more during the day, I go to my Mac Air or my iPad. The app updates all three. A really nice, simple way to chronicle a life.

The previous version worked great. Now, suddenly multiple bugs. HUGE bugs. 1. Calendar view doesnt work - all I get is a blank screen. 2. Quit the app and restarted, and now it wont accept my passcode! It types two characters for every one character I type, and wont accept the passcode I originally created! PLUS, the hint for passcode is totally wrong - nothing I set up.

This app is just what I wanted/needed. It is simple, easy to use and just works. It compliments my written journal nicely, there on phone and laptop if I need it.

I think I can stick to it :)

It is the only app that have what I wanted. It is simple but got everything.

This update took away all my old entries, now I have to start over again. This pains me, how do I get it back? I don’t feel like I can?? The app itself isn’t really that amazing, despite the looks. Definitely not worth what I paid for.

The perfect place to write an inspirational journal. The sycn with all the devices is also perfect ;)

I use this app almost every day noting down things like weather, what’s blooming in my garden, guest visits, etc. It’s great to be able to search for these things months (years) later when I need to remember what happened on a certain day. Two things I still need with this app: 1. better icons. The recent addition of icons in this version are not helpful. Maybe party, temperature, travel, boating icons to summarize the day. 2. Easier access to entries from years past. Currently, one needs to keep back spacing through the months and years to go back two years to make an additional notation. Otherwise, I love this app. It is very useful.

Love the ability to track my mood over graph and then check notes to see events leading up to or after major changes.

It works perfectly with iPad and iPhone. Very concise and clear interface, love it.

Like it—easy to use. Integrates well with my IPad. I tried some of the others and they were not nearly as flexible...

I have been using this application for a couple of years now. I use it on my Mac as well as on my iPhone and iPad. They all work together really well. There is a bit of an issue with iCloud and Yosemite, but that will be resolved as soon as Apple gets their iCloud issue resolved. It actually has made me wish that maybe I had waited to upgrade to Yosemite until it was out of beta. So you may consider that the update won’t work in this because it uses iCloud and in Yosemite this app can’t get to iCloud. But this is a fantastic app and I really love it. Also they are continually working to improve it and come out with an improvement every several months. Really great apps!

I don’t use this app to journal, I use it to write stories, and it is great. Because I’m not journaling, writing on future and past days is key, and the PDF export is also really nice. The app never glitches, and if I do ever get locked out there is great customer service. There are constant updates making the app better and better each time. The iCloud feature is also really nice so that I can start writing on my MacBook and then if I have to go somewhere I can just close and immediately continue writing on my iPhone.

It is pretty to use as a diary and write your daily thinking in it. Not complex. easy to use.

Never have I used an App so extensively as I have this one. I started journaling Christmas on 2013 and have done so almost every day since. the simple feature of syncing every device is wonderful. If anything my only complaint would be that it won’t sync on my PC also. But then again, who wants to write on a PC? I have yet to use any of the emotion faces an in fact most of the stuff i have written is so depressing that I don’t think any of the “smiles” would work. Writing on this app has been a life saver, literally. Keeps mind away from the unthinkable alternative. Now if I could actually start experiencing some wonderful Days!

I guess what makes this a good application is that I actually use it. I’ve been using it for about 9 months now. I’ve tried other Journals, but nothing really came of it. It syncs nicely with my iPad and iPhone (they make it for those devices as well.) I like the fact you can put a 4 digit pin on your journal, but it is simple to bypass it if you forget your password and have iCloud syncing turned on. Simply delete the application and data from your iPhone or iPad, and reinstall. The data will sync back and the password will not. It appears the password for the journal is only stored locally and not synced. It seems like a major security flaw, but that doesn’t stop me from using it!
