Dropbox syncing

The app never synced properly for me on iCloud so I was happy to see the Dropbox sync which works perfect on everything but my Mac! I don’t know how to drag and drop my Dropbox folder into my preferences like it says because I don’t have a Dropbox folder on my computer and there’s no app for the Mac that I can tell.
