Great interface, but no luck with Cloud Syncing
I was excited to see that an OS X version of this App was available. I have used the iOS version of Wonderful Days on my iPhone for 2 years now. On the phone, I love the interface,… easy to use, covers all the bases with Weather/Mood/Location awareness of photos. Unlike some other very highly rated Journal Apps, Wonderful Days on the iPhone can insert as many pictures as desired and in the order you wish them within the body of your writing. Backing them up to PDF and exporting the PDF’s thru iTunes is effortless.
Unfortunately, the OS X version of this App did not bring joy,… Sync between the two platforms is something I have yet to achieve. The Sync set up infact makes the two OS versions seem like different Apps. The iOS version directs you to sync through Evernote. The OS X version has a checkbox for iCloud. The two have yet to meet. I backed up my phone journals to PDF and to Evernote. They failed to sync to my laptop. I deleted the iOS App and reinstalled,… now it will not sync with and restore my files backed up to Evernote (?). I have typed new journal entries on both OS versions,… neither shows on the other platform. I have pursued the solutions referred to on the support page. This is very frustrating. I love this App and hope the developers can fix. If they can, I suspect it could be a major contender for this App Category. Best of luck & thanks for listening.
